Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Handheld Vacuum Review: Easy For Me To Use

This is really a neat little vacuum.


I actually didn't expect much from it, but was happily surprised how well it worked for me.

I have a long haired cat, a cat that has really REALLY thick short hair (and she sheds a lot every spring) AND a part airdale dog who leaves hair around as if she is in some kind of "hair shedding marathon." Because of that I've got to keep on top of cleaning everything up.

I had tried to keep the hair situation under control using my regular vacuum (cannister with a nozzle) and it was doing a fair job. It just took a long time and I had to go over and over and over the same places to get all the hairs up.

I turned on this little Bissell and whoosh--it is a powerful little sucker.

There is a little rubber thing on the front that seems to guide the hair into it.

It took no more than one or two passes and my LazyBoy was hair free. (I'd almost forgotten what color it really was.)

This little Bissell is easy to use for me. I'm 79 years old and have a little arthritis in my hands, but this was easy for me to move around and maneuver into the cracks in the sofa AND I finally got the fabric seats in my car dog- and cat-hair free.

I am really impressed with this vacuum, especially since it's reasonably priced.

The company has actually come out with several different products using the name "Pet Hair Eraser" so as you send in reviews please make sure to tell me which one you used.

There are currently two handheld versions of this vacuum, one with a cord and the other which is cordless. (See below for a review of the cordless version.) These handheld models have overall pretty good reviews.

There is also some upright vacuums made by Bissell with this title, but people have overall not been as impressed with these versions.

Finally, there is also a carpet sweeper with this brand name.

Cordless Handheld Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Vacuum Perfect For Around The House

Pets are cute, adorable and loving, but a side effect of all this joy is usually a lot of pet hair.

And the pet hair gets everywhere. It's in the air, on your clothes, and on your furniture, so cleaning all of it up can be a huge hassle.

I've got Tabby Grey Cats, and they make a real mess sometimes.

Using a standard hair removal brush is just too much work for so many surfaces so after becoming fed up I decided to invest in this handheld vacuum.

It wasn't too expensive and did not require a cord, which was perfect for getting around the house.

I use it on my chairs, couches, linens, and blankets.

It works really almost effortlessly and is really powerful. It vacuums the majority of the hair, leaving only a few strands that are not very noticeable.

You can really feel the power of this vaccum when you turn on the switch.

I have had it for several months now and it hasn't shown signs of breaking down or wearing out.

This is a great product for those of you that are fed up with pet hair.
