Cleaning With Hydrogen Peroxide Can Kill Bacteria

Did you know that cleaning with hydrogen peroxide can kill bacteria?

Many people are looking for more natural alternatives to chlorine bleach for disinfecting their homes.

Hydrogen peroxide is such a solution.

You can dilute hydrogen peroxide, half and half, with water and use this to help kill bacteria in your kitchen and bathroom.

After all, hydrogen peroxide has been used for years as an antiseptic in first aid, and can do the same thing on your hard surfaces.

In addition to killing bacteria, you can use hydrogen peroxide to help kill fungus and mildews in your home.

Please note that I have not found any scientific literature that says hydrogen peroxide can kill viruses, though. Instead, just certain bacteria, mildews and fungus.

You can see a video below which provides more information on using hydrogen peroxide to clean your kitchen and bathroom more naturally.

You can submit your own uses for hydrogen peroxide around your home here, or read even more tips that have already been submitted.

I clean my house with it

I use hydrogen peroxide to clean my floors. Commercial floor cleaners have to be rinsed (double the work) and they're not healthful for my four legged friend. Hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle works well for cleaning counters and table as a disinfectant. Cleans fridge also :)
