Dynamo Oxi Plus Detergent Review - Doesn't Get Out Stains At All

I wish I hadn't purchased this product.


It says it is tough on stains and even has the oxi plus logo on it. I bought it when it was on sale 2 for 1. I am so disappointed! It doesn't get out any stains at all.

In the past two weeks I have rewashed most of my loads. I will never buy this product again. I would really like my money back. If anyone knows how I can do that I would really appreciate the information.

Cory, I am sorry to hear about the bad experience you've had with this product.

It is hard to find out how to contact anyone about this brand of laundry detergent since it is now owned by Phoenix Brands, and their websites aren't very helpful. My suggestion would be to look at the fine print on the back of the laundry jug itself and see if there is a customer service number you could call and complain to.

If you do call, I would love to hear what they say to you, or if they gave you a refund.

I Disliked Ultra Dynamo With Oxi-Plus

I used some Ultra Dynamo with OXI-PLUS and didn't like it at all. Low suds and very watery. Probably will not buy again.

I like suds and laundry detergent with some substance to it, not all watery.

I am sure it got my clothes clean, but just didn't like it.

***Update: I got a review from a reader (click here to read the review) who started getting an allergic reaction to the Dynamo 2x Ultra HE Sunrise Fresh laundry detergent once the Oxi Plus was added to it. Has anyone else had an allergic reaction?***

Allergic To The New Dynamo With Oxi Plus

I have always used Dynamo.

Now, all I can find at the store is the oxi-plus added to it.

I did not pay attention when I bought it. For 2 weeks now I have been itching like crazy. No more Dynamo for me :(

Thanks for sharing your experience, but unfortunately many people have been experiencing this reaction to this additive.

Dynamo Plus Oxi Watered Down & Doesn't Remove Stains

My wife bought a boatload of this stuff because it was on sale.

Now I know why! It is so watery, it actually splashes all over the washing machine when you pour it into the detergent reservoir.

It's almost like someone took regular detergent and literally watered it down.

And it doesn't seem to work on even the easiest stains.

We are just going to use it to wash towels, and not clothes just to get rid of it.

I will never buy this stuff again.

I Can't Use This Detergent Anymore With Addition Of Oxi Plus

I have used Dynamo since I was 18 years old. I am now 54.

When Dynamo first came out I received boxes of samples sent to me, and I was the one that went door to door for people to try it out.

Now they have added Oxi Plus to it and I can no longer use it.

I break out with hives.

Do you still make the kind without the Oxi Plus?

I recently purchased nine bottles of this detergent, not looking at the change in it. I use it and had to stop quickly.

I ended up giving all nine bottles to a friend. A great loss.

I didn't take it back to the store because it was a long time after the sale.

I'm sorry you're allergic to the newest version of this detergent, but as far as I can tell they haven't stopped making the original.

Instead, this is just another version they now have available, so hopefully you could just be more careful when purchasing in the future, to get the one without the "Oxi Plus."
