Mary says:

I had the wonderful job of "de-skunking" my dog and someone had told me about this product that you can get at your local pet store and/or order online.

I poured a quarter size puddle onto a rag and started rubbing down my dog.

My dog is a larger version of an American Cocker Spaniel so he stands just a little bit taller than most Cocker Spaniels.

I started on the back of his head (behind his ears) and rubbed in a circular motion.

I did not get the rag wet because it states you have to put it on dry and let it dry on the dog. You can probably rinse your dog off in the tub later after he dries if you want, but you don't have to & I didn't.

After I worked all down his body, tail, and stomach, I got a smaller puddle on the rag and worked on his face, being very careful not to get any in his eyes.

He also had a harness and collar on that reeked and I used the same product on both of them, let them air dry overnight and the next morning, both the dog and harness and collar didn't smell of skunk any longer.

Needless to say, when he had to go out at night anymore, he stays on the leash in the fenced back yard!! Hope this helps.
