Anything that is metal, that contains even a small degree of iron in it (which includes steel, a very common metal) can rust, if exposed to the weather or damp conditions.

This can be unsightly, but also keep the item from working properly.

There are products that have been made to remove the rust from the metal, so that you can use those items again.

These products come in many forms, from dips, sprays, gels, soaks, etc.

Further, there are many brands to choose from, and frankly it can be a bit overwhelming trying to figure out which one to use on your metal items.

Therefore, if you've used such a product I'd love for you to tell me how it worked for you, and help others who are trying to find something they can use as well.
