I have two showers in my house and I have installed a Scrubbing Bubbles Continuous Clean Automatic Shower Cleaner in both of them.


I have been very satisfied with the results from this product.


I have rheumatoid arthritis and it is difficult for me to do the hard scrubbing that is sometimes required to keep showers clean.

Since I have been using this product I only have to do a touch up cleaning if I am expecting guests.

Every time we are finished with a shower we push the button on the front of the cleaner which is powered by four AA batteries. The cleaner is then sprayed in a circle which performs very well in keeping soap scum from building up.

This has always been a problem for me since we have very hard water.

I use the Fresh Clean Scent which is very pleasant but not over-powering.

I have to replace the bottle of cleaner about once a month and the price is comparable to buying a bottle of spray cleaner.

The liquid does no damage to the surface of my fiberglass shower stalls. It leaves them shiny and clean looking.

I have a lot of skin allergies and am happy to report that this product has not caused any skin problems for me.

This shower cleaner is the best product that I have found for keeping my showers clean at all times with no hard work.

I Don't Recommend The Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner

I installed these automatic shower cleaners in both of my bathrooms. Before I put it in I made sure the bathtub and shower were spotless as the product suggested.

I found, however, that it did not do as good of a job cleaning as I would have expected. The unit would leave streaks of the product going down the shower walls and lines of dirt along the bathtub. It also did nothing for the bathtub.

Another thing I noticed is the unit was very noisy, which was unexpected.

The one positive thing I can say about the product was that the smell was very pleasant.

The refills were used up very fast and not quite worth the cost as I had to clean the shower myself anyway. I did not feel it was worth the money to purchase more refills so I ended up throwing the unit in the trash.

This is not something I would recommend to anyone or purchase again myself.

Loyal Scrubbing Bubbles Fan Disappointed By The Automatic Shower Cleaner

As a very loyal Scrubbing Bubbles fan I was excited to try the automatic shower cleaner. Similar to another reviewer, though, I was also disappointed.

The spray wasn't very even and where it streaked, it was sticky. Also, the batteries run down very quickly.

I decided I would at least get my money's worth and I have used it for about two months now. It has made the decision to replace it very easy for me because it died yesterday. It no longer spins around at all.

All I can say is don't waste your money...

Sorry you're frustrated with this product Ella. I can understand how you would feel this way since an automatic shower cleaner is supposed to make your life easier, and obviously this didn't do that.

I would be curious, what product will you use now, instead, if you know? Will you use one of Scrubbing Bubbles manual shower cleaners, or another brand entirely?
