Clorox 2 Free And Clear Review

by Taylor

I have tried Clorox 2 free and clear liquid color safe bleach and I think it works quite well.

When I got my bottle of the no dyes or perfumes version, in liquid form, it was in a blue bottle with the green cap (as you can see above from the picture). However, I noticed they have changed the bottle to white now, with a green cap, I guess to make clearer that it is scent and dye free.

I have been using this hypoallergenic bleach periodically on my family's heavily stained loads of clothes, to help remove stains and brighten dingy clothes.

It works pretty well on a wide-variety of stains, especially food stains. I don't tend to use it to pretreat stains, as I do with Oxiclean, but instead use it when I've got something with lots of stains over everything, or I'm concerned there are stains in the load that I can't find and specifically pretreat.

I really appreciate that Clorox makes a hypoallergenic version of its non-chlorine bleach, since many other brands do not.

I will confess, however, that I did not purchase the brand name product myself. Instead, my mother-in-law purchased it for me when she noticed I was running low on this type of bleach in my laundry room.

I tend to use generic products when buying them myself, because it saves me money if I don't have a coupon.

Compared to generics, I don't think Clorox 2 does a better job with stain removal. I think instead, that it does about the same.

However, its main advantage, in my opinion, is the scent free version which many generics don't come in. That alone might be worth the extra price to me, and therefore I may purchase it again in the future for that feature alone.

This brand of bleach actually comes in many varieties, including both powder, liquid, and now also in stain removal pacs. In addition, it comes in several different scents, along with scent free. For many, who are not as scent averse as I am, these scent varieties are actually a positive.

I Use It To Remove Body Odor From Clothes Most Of The Time

by Pauline

I recently asked for tips for removing body odor from clothes, and several readers responded.

Pauline explained that she typically uses Clorox 2 for this purpose.

Other home remedies she also uses from time to time include vinegar, or, she said, "every once in a while I use a paste of baking soda, dawn, and peroxide."

So have you used this product? If so, I'd love to hear your reviews and experiences of it. You can submit your review here and I'll add it to the site.
