This brand comes in lots of formulation, including Ultra (formerly called 2x concentrated), baby, free and clear, for cold water washes, with the addition of the stain remover Zout, and in both liquid and powdered varieties.

Further, the company has also recently come out with Ultra Packs, which are individually packaged packs of detergent to throw into your washing machine.

Purex also has reformulated its products so they were all dual compatible, meaning they are safe to use both in HE and regular washing machines. This means you don't have to make sure you get the right detergent for your machine, but can just grab your variety and scent from the shelf without having to look carefully to see if it is the right one.

In addition, it has added a new formulation, entitled Purex Natural Elements, which is designed to be eco-friendly, since it is 95% natural.

Finally, you can get product called Purex Complete 3 In 1 laundry sheets, which is a sheet which contains detergent, fabric softener, and then you transfer after the wash into the dryer and use also as a dryer sheet.

***Update - although at first I heard very positive things about this product, I have lately been getting lots of complaints from SR101 readers. Please read the reviews (see links above) before you purchase this product.***

Purex also has other laundry supplies that coordinate with its detergents. For example, in addition the the 3 in 1 sheets, it also has Purex softener crystals that you also use in the wash. They also have more traditional liquid fabric softeners and druer sheets.

Further, they have Zout stain remover, which you can use to pretreat stains (made by the same parent company, Dial).

There are also color-safe bleaches within this brand.
